Do you absolutely love playing with cats? Then you’ll probably like the latest Givenchy ad campaign under the newly appointed Creative Director, Clare Waight Keller who’s also the first ever woman to head the house.

Shot by famed fashion photographer Steven Meisel, the black and white teaser campaign titled “Transformation Seduction” features models Meghan Roche, Kolton Bowen, Saffron Vadher and Elias Bouremah lounging around while dressed in the upcoming Spring-Summer 2018 collection, which will fully debut on the 1st October 2017 at Paris Fashion Week.

The cats are a reference to the feline prints from a 1953 collection. But I feel it’s a little too literal a representation don’t you think? And in terms of the aesthetics, one can’t help but see some similarities with the ad campaigns by Saint Laurent. There’s some lace and there’s a lot of sensuality, but I guess with the new Givenchy you won’t be seeing them rottweilers anytime soon.
