The best of pals Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid star in the new Fendi Fall-Winter 2017 Ad Campaign shot by Karl Lagerfeld and this of course is not the first time the two had landed themselves in the same fashion ad campaign. If I remember correctly, their previous one together was for Balmain X H&M.
Titled “F en Folie” (folie as in madness), the big Fs you see in the backdrop are supersize reproductions of the new ‘F is FENDI’ monogram ring logo, which are worn as hoop earrings or as a bangle on the forearm.
The logo lends an art deco edge to the collection and if you look more carefully, the ‘F’ ring is also implemented on the belt, sunglasses as well as the bags: namely, the Kan I, the classic Fendi Baguette and the newest Runaway bag (both shown above) and the Triplette which is this ‘three-in-one’ set of pouches secured by the metal logo (below).
With that many logo rings featured in one ad campaign, one can’t help but wonder how many complete or incomplete letter Fs are there in total. My guess would be 100 or maybe 102? Wait, is it 101? Honestly, I think I’ve lost count.
