When Anthony Vaccarello debuted his inaugural collection for the storied house of Saint Laurent, the first thing everyone just had to notice was the giant neon YSL sign dangling from a glowing crane. It was loud and clear: There’s a new mayor in town. It was more evident when the ‘80s vixens strode on the catwalk in polished logo stilettos and glam costume jewellery, all in a logomaniac ode to the Cassandre symbol. Move over, Slimane.

Topping our covet list are the two-piece monogram earrings — designed with a punk grit to swathe the lobes staggered, apart, or conjoined in all its original YSL glory. With blackened steel iterations grounding the polished gold, silver, black and diamanté versions of the ear cuffs and studs, these ear candies make the ultimate statement (and chic conversation starters, too) you’ll need for the season. Priced from $660 for the small clip’on earrings to $1130 for the larger rhinestone version, these ear candies will be dropping in stores this January 2017.
