Anthony Vaccarello is coming into his own. Or rather, his YSL woman is. Two seasons after the Italo-Belgian designer debuted his first collection for the house, she’s boldly sexier and more assertive. She’s definitely not a Slimane redux—although her love for parties is still intact, if not reinvigorated. Her apparent penchant for ‘80s sparkles, shoulder pads and mono-boob dresses are both liberating and empowering. And joining her this time is the YSL man, her male counterpart.
Directed by Nathalie Canguilhem, Saint Laurent’s latest short sees the FW2017 show’s girls and boys haunting the industrial set of where else, but Rue de Bellechasse, accompanied by orchestral soundtrack composed by Sebastian. Lit up in an atmospheric blue glow, recurring muses—the likes of Binx Walton, Mica Arganaraz and Adut Akech— as well as new ones—Dalibor Urosevic and scar-faced Louis Marzin—sported the best from FW2017’s 100 looks. Watch these cool kids take their after dark ensembles seriously. Press play:
