When news broke that Riccardo Tisci was leaving the house of Givenchy after twelve groundbreaking years of tenure as artistic director, everyone collectively died a little inside — right? At least, we did. We have yet to get over his facial piercing romanticism, his ephemeral street-led graphics or his most recent work, the couture number Emma Stone wore when scoring her Best Actress Award at the Oscars, and just like that, he’s already “rumoured” to helm Versace. Lo and behold, we’re not alone.

In the wake of his departure, Givenchy Gang members the likes of Bella Hadid to Joan Smalls posted Insta post tributes, while the house’s studio team extracted the best iconic statements from the ex-creative director’s legacy and literally painted the town red for FW2017. As we patiently wait for Givenchy’s next move to fill in the large shoes Tisci have left behind, see who we imagine would fire the all-red interim collection up ablaze.
